We provide mechanisms for how biopolymers assemble at the molecular level to create the macroscopic structures and behaviors you can observe in a living cell using light microscopy. Our focus is primarily to make experimental measurements on molecules we can isolate in the lab, although we employ cell based environments and computational simulations to provide a comprehensive view of the systems we study.
